Grandmother scoops £66,508 win at Ladbrokes Bingo

Alison Bradbury is like any other 60 year old grandmother and lives in County Durham. That is until she won what she had thought was £120 after enjoying some online bingo fun at Ladbrokes bingo and quite pleased with this result, went off to bed for the night. You can imagine her shock uponreceiving a phone call the next day, explained she had actually managed to bag a huge £66,508 from the bingo win. The game itself only cost 5 pence per ticket, a modest stake that paid off in dividends for this lucky lady.

Bradbury had found it difficult to sleep that night and so thought she would log on for a short while to pass some time until she felt tired enough to return to bed. She played bingo and happily climbed the wooden hill until she achieved a full house win of what she had thought was £120.

Ladbrokes had called to congratulate the fortunate player during the following day on her impressive win.

‘When they called me I thought it was because there was a problem with my account, but when they told me I’d won nearly £67,000, I had to get my daughter to speak to them because my heart was going. Having had a triple heart bypass I thought it would be best if someone else spoke to them,’ the winner commented.

As Bradbury has unfortunately suffered ill health in the past, this money is sure to bring a higher level of comfort and provide her with an easier lifestyle to better take care of her health.

The surprise win came just ahead of the winner’s daughter turning 40 later this month and Bradbury has made plans to celebrate the event in style with an extravagant party to mark the occasion. Further plans include affording her husband the luxury of early retirement sooner than they had planned.
